Designer Galliano sentenced in anti-Semitism case
Thu Sep 8, 2011
I agree about the socialist/communist governmental control of free speech thing going on in France! Wow.
'So, this is democracy': Frustration rife in new Egypt
Tue Jul 5, 2011
INteresting perspective, Egypt. You've never had or experienced democracy yet outside of a "sh*thole" status.
Health care cuts proposed in deficit negotiations

CUT FOREIGN AID!!!! Why is this never brought up in Washington? Tax dollars are American-made and owned foremost. Prioritize those nations who are really allies and have our interests in mind. Abandon all other nations' aid based on strong priorities.
'Finally, I made it': Newest Americans celebrate citizenship
Sat Jul 2, 2011
Bravo! Since these new compatriots followed and respected our laws and persevered through our immigration process (no matter how imperfect or "controversial" it may be), we can at least feel proud of their admission into our brotherhood and offer them all the benefits of our great land.
Woman who recorded police is off the hook
Mon Jun 27, 2011

Thu Jun 16, 2011
There's an oxymoron -- "Arab Spring" Too bad the region and ideology is all about snuffing out all sprouting flowers and depriving the fields of seeds, fertilizer and water. (metaphorically speaking) It's on par with "springtime for Hitler."
Epic snowpack brings stunning scenery, hazards to national parks
Thu Jun 16, 2011
It's not the snowpack or abundance of water causing deaths, it's the (poor) choices of humans. :(
Saggy pants lead to arrest at airport
Thu Jun 16, 2011
As much as I think black men who wear the jeans too low to show off their boxers is creepy and gross, the fact this guy was arrested was preposterous. Total abuse of the law and arguably against basic constitutional rights. He was still clothed.
